Matching knits

So my mom has abandoned me to my fate in matters of sewing this winter. Which is resulting in some bittersweet projects. But as compensation, she has taken up knitting and she has put together some cool stuff for us.

The most recent one, these two dusty pink 100% Merino Wool pullovers, perfect for wintery 2015. From the colors, to the pattern, to the trimming on the bottom, they can't be any more fashionable and in style right now. Me like it!

Unbelievable how cook they turned out

I love them and my birdies look adorable in them. The wool she used was the best 100% Merino Wool by Valeria di Roma. A brand we discovered last winter, and we stick with because of its quality, no lint please, and its variety in colors and gauges. Machine washable, and wear resistant, we have used it before and the quality is excellent. The price tag, not as much. But if you are going to devote your time and effort into knitting a garment, it is not the time to cut back on quality. 

Baby #3 (6months old) - paired it up with a velvet  diaper cover. 

I wish you could see how cute she looks!

Now, if I could only find the time to knit her a matching cap with the left over yarn...
